Guilt Free 'Ice Cream'
25~32 grams of casein protien -Flavor = your choice (cals depend on brand, but <150)
4 oz water
Ice - (use as much as you need to get the desired consistency... start with maybe 4-5 pieces and work up if you need more tho)
Pour water in to blender, then powder (other way around and it will get stuck on the bottom)
Blend until smooth
Add Ice
Repeat
I just made this a few minutes ago and it made over a cup of "ice-cream" but only 94 calories (I used 25 grams) and... out of it I got:
Protein | 18.75 | g | |||
fat | 0.78 | g | |||
sat fat | 0.39 | g | |||
cholesterol | 7.81 | mg | |||
sodium | 39.06 | mg | |||
carbohydrate | 2.34 | g | |||
fiber | 0.78 | g | |||
calcium | 46.88 | % |
vs...1080 calories worth (1 pint) of Half-Baked Ben and Jerries, which was a frequent binge food during wintertime...
Protein | 16 | g |
fat | 52 | g |
sat fat | 28 | g |
cholesterol | 220 | mg |
sodium | 280 | mg |
carbohydrate | 140 | g |
fiber | 4 | g |
sugars | 108 | g |
calcium | 40 | % |
Vitamin A | 40 | % |
Iron | 32 | % |
At less than 10% the calories, I think it is well worth the lost Vitamin A and Iron... especially when I already get 100% RDA of both of those, which are not things you want too much of, from my vitamins =]

It sounds so good though! But I agree that the benefits are worth a few vitamin losses. Especially for those of us who take multivitamins anyways lol! Thank you for the recipe though! I really want to make it now xD
