I feel like I should add a few more calories in, because experts say that if you eat less than 1000 calories a day, or even less than 1200, you will cause your metabolism to slow down and therefore gain weight but... idk. These are the same experts who say the average lazy-ass American should eat 2000 calories... Thoughts?

Had a bit of a headache at the end of the day, and still a small one today. If this continues I will up my calorie intake to 1200 every day. Would rather not, I am pretty sure I only burn 2047 calories (max) per day, and I want to lose at least 2lbs per week so... 1000 deficit is needed, right? BUT, I'll be adding exercise soon, so it should be ok once I do that.
